China International Agricultural Chemicals and Plant Protection Exhibition (CAC), organized by the Chemical Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, is held in Shanghai in March every year. Since the first openning in 1999, through the rapid development of 17 sessions, CAC has become the world's largest agrochemicals exhibition, and won UFI certification in 2012. The exhibition serves as the most important business trading and cooperation platform, and becomes the most professional and the most active agrochemical exhibition. It also serves as a window for China agrochemical enterprises steps into the world market, and a very important annual fair for the agrochemical involvers all over the world as well.

The 17th China International Agricultural Chemicals and Plant Protection Exhibition, the 17th China International Agricultural Equipment and Plant Protection Equipment Exhibition, the 17th China International New Fertilizer Exhibition in Shanghai New International Expo Center were successfully concluded on March 9-11, 2016. The exhibitions takes 5 pavilions of the Shanghai New International Expo Center, creating one trade exchange and cooperation platform for agrochemical, fertilizers, seeds, non-agricultural drugs, manufacturing and packaging equipment, plant protection equipment, logistics, consulting, experiment room and supporting services. 1175 enterprises from 22 countries and regions from all over the world attended these exhibitions. Comparing with the previous exhibition, the number of exhibitors of this exhibition was increased by 10%; exhibition area of 62,000 square meters, with a 15% increasement. With overseas exhibitors covering more than 20 countries or regions such as Australia, Brazil, Russia, France, Korea, the Netherlands, Malaysia, the United States, Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Italy, India, Indonesia, Britain, Vietnam, China Taiwan, more than 90 overseas enterprises’ exhibitors, and national concentrate exhibitors from India, South Korea, Turkey, Vietnam, these exhibition absorbs more and more concerns from home and abroad.

During the exhibition, nearly 30,000 professional staff from more than 100 countries and regions around the world attended these exhibitions. At N5 Hall, the overseas exhibition introduction and marketing event, overseas exhibitions introduction area, and new fertilizer products, new technology release area, all enjoys soaring attraction.
